With the fast moving life of today's work environment, tremendous competitive spirit in every sphere, pressure of meeting deadlines, information overflow (- thanks to the internet), deteriorating food habits, lack of daily routine - particularly in the younger generation; people in general have been falling prey to several diseases at a very young age. The field of psycho-neuro-immunology underscores the intricate relationship between mind and body, stress and disease. The more stressed we are, the less efficiently our body's immune system works. The amount of money lost to stress-related problems in the workforce - absenteeism, illness, discord, and just plain inefficiency on the job - is incalculable.
Yoga, as it is known today, has a hundred variants. Alas! Somewhere down the line, the ancient wisdom of Yoga seems to have been lost in this modern world. This program is comprised of Yoga Workshops that have been designed with the intent of reviving this glorious and perennially relevant knowledge embedded in the ‘Yoga Sutras’, to influence the body-mind nexus; thereby enriching our lives and the lives of those around us.
